About AAEC at Paradise Valley Community College
AAEC at Paradise Valley Community College is in its 11th year of operation with a current student population of roughly 300 achieving students. Located on the Paradise Valley Community College campus, AAEC at PVCC enjoys the full complement of high school courses in a newly renovated facility. There are eleven new classrooms, a state-of-the-art biotechnology lab and an outdoor courtyard where students can relax and enjoy the local flora. Core courses include English, Biology, Honors Biology, Global Studies, Chemistry, Math, U.S. History and Arizona History to name a few of our offerings. AAEC at PVCC has a thriving and exemplary Equine – Animal – Agribusiness program of study that also includes courses in business, genetics, anatomy and physiology, horsemanship, applied biological science, marketing and an array of other industry specific classes and topics. Like all AAEC high schools, students at the Paradise Valley site enjoy the benefit of a small school atmosphere, project-based hands-on instruction and individualized attention. Students that make appropriate progress are able to enroll in tuition-free college courses with our college partner, Paradise Valley Community College. A majority of AAEC students are enrolled as community college students and have access to most community college recreational programs and facilities. In addition to the community college life, AAEC offers extracurricular activities such as prom, yearbook, student government, Future Farmers of America and National Honor Society.
