Welcome from the Principal
Welcome to AAEC South Mountain. We look forward to another successful school year. The staff has been working hard all summer to make this year our best yet. This year, each teacher will sponsor a student club to encourage our students get the most out of their high school experience. Clubs include: Be a Leader Foundation, FFA, Student Government, National Honor Society, Investment Club, Art Club, and Dance Club. We are also proud to announce that we will be offering vet-science classes, communication classes, and a robotics class. Keep an eye on our academic calendar to see the other exciting events we have in store for the 2010-2011 school year.
In addition to student clubs and organizations, we continue to offer FREE college classes to students through South Mountain Community College. This is an amazing opportunity for students to earn college credit while they are still in high school. Students can earn their Associate Degree by the time they graduate high school, saving students and their families two years of college expenses. This is yet another example of our commitment to our students.
AAEC continues to be a leader in revolutionizing education. We look forward to continuing our record of excellence. For more information, please visit us at our campus or call (602) 323-9890.
