Hello, I’m Ms. Young! I
look forward to guiding your students in algebra 1-2 or chemistry. I firmly
believe that anyone can do well in math and science if they are willing to put
in the effort. Help is available to
students needing assistance after school or by appointment, just ask!
I am also the advisor for National Honor Society, which students are invited to join in their sophomore year. The NHS participates in many service projects, peer tutoring, and the Brainstorm competition (on Cox Communications channel 7)!
Class Info:
I expect my students’ best effort in my class. In order to do this, students will need to participate, ask questions, and take notes. I am here to help; students should ask for help if they are struggling with a concept. (I don’t venture very far from room 8!)

*I do random planner checks to ensure that students are keeping track of the daily assignments and topics; these are unannounced (but easy points if the students maintain their planners)!
